A necessity for making meats absolutely perfect during the holiday season, cranberry sauce is one of many staples that transform Thanksgiving dinner into a bonafide feast. But what happens when the cranberry sauce gets all over your dining room chairs and your tablecloth? What is always evident during any family dinner is a mess happening somewhere around the dining room table.
This year, COIT wants to help you prepare for those messy Thanksgiving and other holiday dinners. COIT understands as the year comes to an end, we have a lot to be thankful for, and a clean house should be one of them.
Here are our tips on removing cranberry sauce from dining room chairs and tablecloths.
Stain remover ingredients: 1/4 cup distilled vinegar, 1 tbsp laundry detergent, 3/4 cup water. Combine in a spray bottle.
This should take care of any stains caused by a meal with dropped cranberry sauce.
Stains are pesky things, and they can sometimes escape our sight after a long day of cooking, entertaining, and cleaning. We might not notice when the stain gets onto our upholstery, our carpet, or our tablecloths.
To remove a cranberry stain that has dried up over time, here is what you need to do.
Using the same solution we mentioned before, spray the stain and let the solution sit for 10-15 minutes. Once the solution has settled in, blot it dry with a wet towel, and then a dry towel.
Blot the cranberry sauce stain as much as possible making sure you do not spread the stain
