Popcorn Removal
Air sampling is done pre, during and post remediation. Containment is set up in a three stage decontamination unit (with shower). Negative Pressure Air Machine (filter all air inside containment 4 times an hour), compressor for supplied air to workers for breathing. Once it’s all set up, we wet the ceiling, and scrape it off, then detail clean with scrubby and wire tooth brushes. Double bag and label all debris. Then encapsulate, before running our post clearance (which needs to be read at a Lab with a microscope) before tearing down containment.
Textured Drywall
Textured Drywall has the same as process as popcorn removal, except it cannot be scraped off. A certified technician must remove the drywall.
Sheet Vinyl, Vinyl Asbestos Tile (VAT) and Mastics
Air sampling is done pre, during and post remediation. Containment is set up (basically a big plastic bag for removal), Load out, Negative Pressure Air Machine (filter all air inside containment 4 times an hour). Once it’s all set up, we wet the flooring, then scrape it off with spud bars and razor scrapers. Sometimes this requires us to use chemicals (solvents to dissolve the mastics)
Pipe Wrap
Air sampling is done pre, during and post remediation. Containment is set up (basically a big plastic bag for removal), 3 stage decontamination unit (with shower), Negative Pressure Air Machine (filter all air inside containment 4 times an hour), or if small amounts are being removed glove bags can be utilized instead of full containments. Debris is double bagged and labeled.
Cement Asbestos Board (CAB) Siding and Roofing
This work is typically completed outside. Our certified technicians complete air sampling i during the removal process. A regulated area is set up. Plastic drops and fall protection are utilized as needed. Proper wetting is also used. Debris is double bagged and labeled.
