Social Media & Content Specialist in Bay Area
3+ years of professional social media and content creation experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating social media strategy and original content creation.
Experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Ability to work on-site to capture content and collaborate with the team.
The Social Media & Content Specialist will own our social media presence from strategy through execution. This role is responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating original content, capturing photography and video, editing and publishing content, engaging with our audience, and measuring performance to continuously improve results and drive revenue through work order generation.
As a growing services business in a competitive market, we need a dedicated resource who can consistently create compelling content that builds brand awareness, strengthens customer engagement, and supports lead generation. This position will serve as the primary owner of our social media channels and content development.
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
Build and manage content calendars across all social platforms.
Plan, capture, edit, and publish original photo and video content.
Create engaging short-form videos, photography, graphics, and written content.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
Monitor and engage with followers, reviews, and direct messages.
Analyze performance metrics and recommend optimizations based on results.
Stay current on social media trends, competitive activity, and emerging platforms.
Build and maintain a library of branded photo and video assets.
Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to identify and create compelling content opportunities.
