Pre-Inspection and Fiber Identification
Your technician walks the space with you, identifies carpet fiber type and construction, notes problem areas and existing damage, and confirms which stains are treatable. This determines the cleaning solution, water temperature, and pressure used for the rest of the job.
Furniture Moving and Area Prep
Small and light furniture is moved by your technician. Corner guards and protective blocks go under furniture legs to prevent stain transfer while carpets dry.
Pre-Vacuuming
Dry soil is removed first. This step matters, because silt, dirt, and other particles are abrasive and need to come out before any moisture is introduced.
Pre-Conditioning and Spot Treatment
A pre-conditioning agent is applied to break down oils, soil, and protein-based stains. Traffic lanes, stairs, and pet accident areas get separate targeted treatment before the main pass.
Hot Water Extraction
The truck-mounted system injects heated cleaning solution under pressure and immediately extracts it along with dissolved soil, dust mites, and allergens. This is the method most carpet manufacturers require to keep warranty coverage valid.
Optional CoitGard and Deodorizer Application
CoitGard stain protector can be applied to resist future staining. Deodorizers are applied where pet odors, smoke, or mildew smells are present.
Grooming and Final Walkthrough
Carpet pile is groomed to speed drying and restore texture. Your technician walks the finished work with you before leaving and reviews drying guidance.
