In-Plant Cleaning (At COIT's Facility):
- We pick up your rug and take it to our facility where it is examined, lifted and tumbled or vacuumed to remove embedded dirt.
- it is pre-treated and cleaned with a mild color-safe shampoo.
- We allow the pre-treatment to dwell so that it loosens the soils, just like when you soak a dish in the sink—it cleans up more efficiently.
- Then we do spot treatments, we rinse and hang to dry and thoroughly vacuum.
- We also can apply our CoitGard™ stain-resistant coating to ensure your area rugs will stay cleaner longer.
- We’ll bring your rug back to you, deeply cleaned and contaminant free.
This process takes one week and includes pick up and drop off. This method is recommended for natural fiber rugs such as wool, as well as heavily soiled or contaminated rugs.
