Our Process
COIT's process for cleaning concrete consists of using truck-mounted equipment, as well as hand washing the corners, edges and hard to reach areas.
Inspection: Since concrete is porous by nature, it can be very tough to clean. If there is a finish on the concrete, improper or aggressive cleaning can break down the finish that protects it. Once a concrete finish is worn, the concrete is vulnerable to staining from pet accidents, dirty mop water, spills, and grime/asphalt from shoe traffic, etc. COIT will perform a proper inspection to ensure the best results.
We use a combination of pads, brushes, neutral pH cleaners and degreasers that are safe for your concrete, your family and the environment. By choosing COIT you can be sure you will receive the most thorough and professional cleaning possible.
As with all of our work, our technicians move most furniture excluding breakable and smaller items. We pay close attention to details and ensure that there is no dust and no mess created. We are extremely careful not to cause damage to adjacent surfaces such as walls, baseboards, cabinets, appliances and carpets.
Optional Sealing: Sealing concrete after a cleaning will help prevent staining and make routine cleanings much easier. We begin by applying sealant/finish to the surface with a specialized applicator designed to work the seal into the pores of the concrete. In certain situations, additional coats are required.
