In 1966, Paul and Sarah Wohl opened the Coit Drapery Cleaners franchise for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul and Western Wisconsin. They had recently attended an International Dry Cleaners Convention in Chicago, Il, and were impressed with Coit’s ability to remove waterstains from draperies and guarantee their cleaning 100%.
